A little for me. A little for Patrick.
I never really thought to go to live music shows before we met. And the ones we've been to, he's picked. But I've enjoyed every single one.
I wouldn't mind picking a few myself, but if he ends up I don't think that'll be too bad, either.
I may have been spoiled by my only real experience with live theater -- as an abroad student in London, I attended Shakespeare, as interpreted by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Yeah, so no pressure, all you local playhouses.
I didn't do this enough when I was in college and had lecture series at my fingertips. Of course I didn't. Because if I had, I wouldn't have had the chance to go up to be an adult that said "I didn't do *blank* enough while I was in college."
In any case, I don't think they put age limits on lecture series. I'll have to keep my eye out for particularly interesting topics (the history of language, and how different technologies ... paper, for instance ... forced language to adapt? Please? Could someone host that series?).
I'm sure that, if I looked hard enough, they would still all be at my fingertips. I'm interested to see what I come up with.
